Hotel Meranda

We stayed, together with a group of friends, over the New Year period. The location is excellent and the structure has parking reserved for customers. We chose the renovated rooms paying a 15% supplement on the entire stay with full board. The rooms are certainly renovated, but the beds are not... The only single room, booked in our package, was not renovated as the structure does not have any available, it had no TV as it lacked the antenna cable and the water from the shower and the taps only came out in a trickle. The service in general is good....the entertainers, kind, discreet and helpful. As for the food, breakfast was not really a buffet but served from behind a counter... as if we were in a canteen... lunch and dinner served at the table... with poor quality and poorly cooked products , in fact the last 2 days we preferred to eat out. The New Year's Eve dinner which was "discreet" was partly saved. If we were to return to Sila we will evaluate other solutions.

We stayed here the night between Christmas and Boxing Day. Nothing to say about the location, the hotel is located a few steps from the main street and therefore very convenient. It also has a guest car park, quite crowded but we still managed to find a spot. The structure is in good condition, some of the rooms do not appear to have been modernized in recent years but all in all it is not unpleasant to spend a night there. Beds perhaps a little uncomfortable and the heating makes a very annoying noise at night. Breakfast included in the price but definitely leaves something to be desired, especially the coffee. It should be a buffet but in reality it's like a bar, you go and ask what you want to eat. We didn't try the restaurant, maybe it was better. Advice for the position.

I stayed a month ago with my family, I had already been there and didn't like it but its location is excellent and many hotels are closed so the choice is not vast. We arrived in the evening after an uncomfortable journey due to roadworks and the car park was full, being pregnant I asked the reception first if I could park in the car park reserved for pregnant women also considering that I had another small daughter who was sleeping. With a smile I was told that I could, while it was time to go to dinner and come back I found a sign on the windshield to contact the reception. The valet introduced himself and told us that the parking was reserved for disabled people. Which is completely non-existent because the disabled person's parking is not up to standard as the ramp is in the parking lot itself so you would have to fly to get off but the worst thing is that an SUV invaded the pregnant women's lane but what the parking attendant said lounging inside and it doesn't turn out that the disabled person is more important than a pregnant woman now given that we have the obstetrician who absolutely cannot and must not allow himself to judge who is more important or not considering a pregnancy with high risk of miscarriage and unfortunately disadvantaged is an offense Without precedents!!!!! Breakfast served and without hygiene flies resting everywhere!!! To ask a question or to ask in line like at the canteens then after waiting empty croissant absent, packaged yogurt absent only their artisanal one with the fly on the spout and no traceability white is disgusting but so they suggested I could put the fruit topping pure glucose syrup so beware of those with diabetes!! Alternative???? Cakes made by them without a table of ingredients and allergens with waiters who snort at the mere thought of having to explain themselves to you. We went to have breakfast at the bar!!!!! And the rooms aren't cheap considering the service and quality. In the end we packed our bags and changed hotels, I complained about the problems and the manager apologized in an email saying that I had already been there and that I hadn't complained previously. I didn't complain because they weren't serious things like these and anyway I don't like giving negative reviews because we all have to work and in Camigliatello there is already little tourism but you're letting it go. !!!!!
